My Popcorn eating Puglets

Ping and Zoe love to follow mama around when she eats because they know that most of the time mama is going to give them a little of her snack. This night I was laying on the couch as usual like I do when I have my Pinky computer in my lap but this time I had my bowl of popcorn on my lap desk. Ping and Zoe had their heads resting on there just waiting for mama to share some with them.. They were so engrossed I had to snap a picture of my cute little fur balls of sunshine..

Valentines Day

I had a wonderful Valentines Day. Joe gave me this lucky bamboo plant the night before. I got him this cute Pug card that I found in the store many months before. We ended up going out to an early dinner with My mom and dad to Applebees. After that Joe and I went to see Confessions Of A Shopaholic. It was a cute feel good movie. We ended up coming home and snuggling with the pups watching TV and as usual I fell asleep early on the couch.. :)

Mom and pops got some yummy virgin tropical drinks.. Here they are and also the two of them enjoying them.

Our dinner was absolutely yummy... Dad and Joe got Bourbon Street Steaks with yummy veggies and mashed taters. I had one bite of Joe's taters and they were dee-lish. Chicky got a Chicken Caesar Salad and I got Steak & Portobellos that was only 7 points from the Weight Watchers selection. I asked for extra veggies on the side too which was broccoli. The steak was wonderfully seasoned and melted in my mouth. I saved dessert room points for butter-less popcorn at the movie theater later that day..

Happy Valentines Day!

This morning I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and lost a little over a pound for a total of almost 7 pounds in three weeks. I have about 10-12 to go, depending on how I feel. I came home and took a four mile walk and after a little cleaning Joe and I are meeting my folks for an early Valentines dinner at Applebees and then Joe and I are heading out to a movie. I am hoping to take pictures and blog tomorrow. I am looking up the points for my dinner and popcorn so I'll know ahead of time what I'm going to order. I hope everyone has a wonderful day..

My silly and playful Puglets blog

Today's blog was supposed to be about my buffet dinner and trip to Mohegan Sun but my tummy decided to act up shortly after my walk yesterday and Joey ended up going alone with Chris. Sean was supposed to go as well but ended up working that night.       Anyway, one of the pictures is a random one of Zoe with a silly lint ball stuck on her mouth.. Pugs are known for having things hang out of their mouths sometimes and not know they are there.. LOL      Today I was also playing with the girls and their toys and a few of the pictures are from then.     I have to get creative with my blogging but I have been so tired when I get home from work and fall asleep extremely early on the couch.. I am also still without my big computer and am doing this all from Pinky. It will be three weeks tomorrow that I have been without it.   They are putting in a new mother board and some electrical stuff..  Anyway, here are da pictures..

Super Bowl Sunday

We had a nice spread Superbowl Sunday. It was all quick and easy finger food with some nice diet munchies for me as well. I have been on the Weight Watchers program for about a little over a week and have been doing pretty good sticking to it. I saved up my points that day so I could snack a little more that night. One of the dips I made was very healthy and I also ripped up a WW pita pocket and used it along with veggies for dipping.

Black Bean Dip

one can of black beans

1/2 cup non fat plain yogurt

1 minced chopped garlic clove

one small can chopped chillies

1/4 cup salsa

a few sprinkles of hot sauce if needed

We also had shrimp and cocktail sauce, chicken strips, veggies and dip, chips and salsa, scallops and bacon and some other goodies..

My brother and his wife came and Chris ate with us in the beginning and Sean watched the game with everyone after he got off of work.

I messed around with my timer and for some reason the lighting was off with the picture when Sean came home..
